Helping to improve sexual health awareness in partnership with our communities
The Community Education Sexual Health team (CeSH) comprises three non clinical sexual health specialists working across Lancashire.
The team works in partnership with local statutory and non statutory, community, voluntary and faith sector organisations across Lancashire to help raise awareness of sexual health and sexual health issues and improve outcomes for Lancashire residents. The team works with a variety of proffessionals and community members to provide information, training and rescources to help enhance delivery of sex and relationships education across Lancashire. The team consists of three area co-ordinators who can be contacted to discuss sexual health promotion, training and also delivery of targetted sessions to identified groups of under 25s.

The area co-ordinators chair quarterly multiagency sexual health meetings. The quarterly meetings provide a platform to share good practice and input into sexual health initiatives locally and across Lancashire., issues and ideas raised by community partners are escalted to the service lead.

What's on offer
The team are able to provide sexual health information sessions to targetted groups of under 25s. We will discuss the needs of the group with you and tailor the session appropriately. Please get in touch with your area co-ordinator to arrange a session.
Short assemblies are available to year groups to raise awareness of sexual health and local services.
We are able to provide support, training and resources to proffessionals working with under 25s to help enhance Sex and Relationships education within other organisations.
The WRAPPED condom scheme is also mananged by your area co-ordinator - please get in touch if you would like more information about the scheme or are interested in becoming a distribution site.
